The St Giles Church Harvest Festival Service was very well attended and the church looked magnificent with the many floral/vegetable displays. A donation will be made to Cupboard Love from the bring and buy sale.
Please support your local Hospice coffee morning on Thursday, Oct-ober 30 between 10am and noon in the village hall.
Weldmar Christmas cards and gifts will be on sale plus a bring and buy and a raffle. Entry is £2 to include coffee and Halloween goodies.
For that special and unique Christmas gift come along to the Chideock Christmas fayre on Saturday afternoon November 8 in the village hall.
Last month a new basket swing was installed in the playing field and is already very popular with all the children.
Sadly, superfast broadband for Chideock has sadly been bogged down by ‘red tape’.
