RENOWNED Chef Ashley Palmer-Watts will be attending the Dorset Knob Throwing and Frome Valley Food Fest, which takes place at Cattistock on Sunday, May 4.

Ashley, who heads the kitchen of two Michelin starred Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, will be one of four highly skilled chefs that will be demonstrating at the event.

Originally from Dorset, Ashley’s creativity, eye for detail, and his extensive research of British ingredients and culinary history have enabled him to create Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s unique menu of historically inspired British dishes and oversee the development of the group’s other restaurants.

Other well-known and highly accomplished chefs will also be demonstrating at the event, including the Somerset Chef Jean-Paul De Ronne, Lee Moreton from Dorset Charcuterie, who will entertain with his ‘Ready Steady Cook’ kind of demo and Jack Mackenzie from the locally celebrated gastro pub the Acorn , who will illustrate a speciality meal guaranteed to make your mouth water.

The Dorset Knob Throwing is supported by Moores, the producers of the famous Dorset Knob Biscuit, and the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) Partnership.
