Crash causes traffic delays

FIRECREWS helped free two people trapped in an overturned car by the Dottery crossroads junction near Bridport this morning.
The accident happened at 8.36am and the ambulance attended but the occupants of the orange Renault Clio, registered to a Yeovil, only had minor injuries and were freed by firemen by 9.20am.
Police put traffic diversions in place via Stoke Abbot and Pymore but many motorists tried to get through Pineapple Lane causing long tail backs and delays.
Police say the road was clear by 10.07.
