NOTORIOUS: Miles Cross junction
WEST Dorset MP Oliver Letwin will chair a public meeting about the Miles Cross junction in Bridport.
It is being held on Friday January 25 at 7pm in Bridport Town Hall and it is open to all.
The Highways Agency has been invited.
Bridport Town Council recently considered the issue of traffic and road safety on the A35 at the Miles Cross junction.
The discussions came after a report the council received about the large number of number of accidents at the blackspot.
The town council agreed to write to parish councils to seek their support for representations to be made to the Highways Agency asking that a roundabout be installed.
