Four shortlisted for the chief constable position at Dorset Police

FOUR candidates have been shortlisted for the new chief constable position at Dorset Police.
The acting chief constable Debbie Simpson is one of the candidates that will move to the selection phase of the interview process.
It came after the new Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) and his selection panel met today.
Interviews will take place on January 21 and 22 and the PCC’s chosen candidate will go before the police and crime panel for a confirmation hearing on February 7.
