Still time to comment on blueprint
8:20am Saturday 5th April 2008 in News By Chris Carson
THERE is still time for people to have their say on the Beaminster and Villages Action Plan.
The draft plan picks up on the key issues for local people such as transport, housing, facilities for young people, health services.
It has been co-ordinated by a community partnership that involves parish councils, community groups and is supported by the district and county council.
Rachelle Smith the facilitator commissioned to collate the action plan said: "We have had a good response from people in Beaminster and villages, from all walks of life and a wide range of ages, but everyone's view are important so do be sure to send in your form by the deadline."
The Action Plan and Questionnaire can be picked up from Beaminster Library, Yarn Barton Community Learning Centre, Halstock Community Shop, Mosterton Stores, Broadwindsor shop or downloaded from the website on www.dorsetforyou.com/communityplan/west/beaminster The deadline for responses is Monday April 14.
