VROOM: The world's most expensive motor cycle- with a £41,125 price tag, is going on sale at a local garage.

Roy Warburton claims his American made Boss Hoss will accelerate from 0-50 miles-per-hour in just 1.5 seconds.

What makes it so fast is its 5.7 litre Chevrolet V8 car engine.

The one-geared monster is also the world's biggest bike and has a top speed of 160 miles-per-hour.

FORE: Schoolboy Ryan Mullins realised every golfer's dream when he downed a hole-in-one during a game with friends at Bridport and West Dorset Golf Club.

The 12-year-old's 135-yard shot was confirmed by the club's professional, John Parrish.

JUMP: Bridport mum Jenny Powell is scared of heights, but she plans to jump from an aeroplane at 3,500 feet to coin in the cash for a cause close to her heart.

Two years ago, Jenny's only daughter, Gemma, now aged seven, was diagnosed as diabetic.

FETE: The first fete to be held in the tiny parish of Burstock for 47 years was a great success.

The village population of 80 temporarily swelled to 200 on Saturday and a total of £400 was raised during the course of the day's events.

The fete, held at Brackham Field, adjourning the home of Lieut-Col and Mrs W J Cooper, was opened by Mrs Cooper.

ESTABLISHED: At long last Bridport have made it.

Season 1967-68 will surely be remembered as the one in which the Bees finally made their mark in the Western League.

After six years in the doldrums, struggling in the main against finishing in the bottom two places, Bridport ended their seventh-year programme well and truly embedded in the top half of the table.

FLYING HIGH: Lyme Regis Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack were "flying high", said the District Commissioner (Mr J.J Gunn) at the Group Council's annual meeting in the Woodmead Halls on Monday night.
