POLICE in Beaminster are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Mosterton.

The incident took place between 10am on Thursday December 25 and 11.30am on Saturday December 27 2014 at an address in the Watery Lane area.

The thieves forced entry into the secure property and stole electrical items, jewellery and a vehicle which was found abandoned in Yeovil.

The occupants were not home at the time.

PC Neil Gauden of Bridport police said: “I am now in the position to release images of some of the items stolen and I’m appealing for any witnesses and anyone with information about those responsible to come forward and contact police.

“I would like to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area during this time span.

“Also, I urge anyone who knows of the whereabouts of the stolen objects or has been offered the items pictured or electrical items for unusually low prices to call Dorset Police.”
