Bridport man held after alleged rape of women

A MAN from Bridport was one of five people arrested in connection with the alleged rape of two women.
Dorset Police said five men, four from London, aged 23 and 24 and two, aged 22, plus one man from the Bridport area aged 22, were held in connection with the ‘serious sexual assaults’ in Weymouth.
The Bridport man was arrested in the Bridport area last Wednesday, September 12 and questioned in relation to the incident which was reported to police on September 9.
He and the other men arrested have been bailed until January, 2013.
The alleged attacks are believed to have taken place at hotels in Weymouth.
The women involved are both aged 17.
