TAKE THREE GIRLS: Claire Carter, Tammie Parkin and Fran Pike from Haydon Vets raised £700
VETERINARY nurses Tammie Parkin, Fran Pike and Claire Carter from Haydon Vets in Bridport completed a 58-mile sponsored walk.
The trio trekked from Studland to Burton Bradstock and raised £700 for charity.
The three day-walk, which took place over the bank holiday weekend, was in aid of Rushton Dog Rescue and the Cats Protection League.
Claire said: “We split the miles up evenly over the three days, with the first day’s weather being the worst.
“We were walking into 25mph winds with on and off rain all day. On day one we completed 26 miles, day two 24 miles and completed the last eight miles in the morning of day three.
“We would like to thank everyone who has kindly donated and the sums are still adding up.”
