Ironman Weymouth organisers say they're keeping a close eye on the weather - but at the minute, everything is going ahead as planned.

The popular triathlon is set to return to Weymouth and the surrounding areas on Sunday.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds from 9am on Sunday to 9am on Monday.

Race director Alan Rose said this morning: "We are keeping an eye on the weather and conditions. We're planning for everything to go ahead but we are looking at contingency plans and will make a decision nearer the time.

"We are looking to deliver a safe and successful Ironman Weymouth."
