HOLD on to your hats- it's going to get windy.

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings over no less than four days this week.

The first is in place across the south west, including Dorset, from 6pm tomorrow, Thursday, to 9am on Friday.

A spokesman said: "This is a different bit of weather than Storm Ali, which is tracking off.

"This is just weather.

"There is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs or through falling trees and branches. This could also bring the chance of injuries and danger to life."

On Sunday and into Monday, a further yellow weather warning for wind is in place from 9am to 9am.

A spokesman said there is the potential for another very windy spell across parts of the UK, including Dorset.
