The A35 was closed this morning following a car crash.
A car overturned and hit a tree between Hutgate Road and the A358 (Axminster).
The incident happened at around 6.20am.
The road was initially closed both ways and traffic was affected between Honiton and Lyme Regis.
The road was then partially blocked at around 7.45am allowing traffic to move past the scene of the crash.
Police have now confirmed that the road has been cleared and fully reopened.
Traffic has returned to normal.
