A flood alert has been issued for West Bay.
The Environment Agency warns this evening's high tide, at about 9pm, could see flooding around the harbour.
The warning will remain in force for two hours following high tide.
Waves may cause overtopping of the sea defences and sea spray at the harbour between 7.30pm and 10.30pm. Expect tides to be higher than usual.
People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast.
The Environment Agency is continuing to monitor the situation.
