A neighbourhood policing team has announced its community events for September.

Bridport Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), which covers Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis, is based in Bridport.

The Lyme Regis region has invited the community to ask them questions and get any queries answered at these events.

Officers are holding a Thorncombe Surgery at Thorncombe Village Shop on Friday, August 31.

The team will be at the shop from 3pm until 4pm, with everyone welcome to attend and meet the team.

On Wednesday, September 5, the team will then be running a coffee morning at Hallett Court, Queens Walk.

Tea and coffee will be served from 10am until 11am.

Officers will be back at Hallet Court on Wednesday, September 19 at the same time, providing any information you may need.

Beaminster region Neighbourhood Policing Team will be Burton Bradstock Library for a meet the team/surgery drop-in session.

This will take place on Tuesday, September 4 from 10.30am until 11am.

The team will then be at Melbury Osmond Village Hall, where they will be hosting a coffee morning from 10.30am until midday on Thursday, September 6.

Askerswell Village Hall is the location of the team's next event, where the team has organised an Askerswell Surgery from 10.30am until 11am.

Beaminster NPT will then be hosting a meet the team/surgery at the Broadwindsor Comrades Hall.

This will take place from 11am until 11.30am on Tuesday, September 11.
