For most people, celebrating your 40th birthday usually involves an event of some sort.

However, one Bridport mother has decided to do 40 things in her 40th year.

Louise Goligher has organised a naked calendar shoot using local businesses around Bridport as one of the 40 activities.

Louise said: "I'm a crazy girl and always up for a laugh, so I am in the process of organising a Naked Calendar for 2019.

"I had this crazy idea using local businesses around Bridport."

"I am having amazing support and help from the local business in Bridport, Dorset helping with the photo shoots.

"All businesses have been fantastic sponsoring and donating money for the calendar along with the 80 models."

With the help of photographer Ricky Stubbs, friend Sharon Poole and the models, the calendar has now been sent to the printers.

The money raised from the calendar sales will go to Weldmar Hospicecare, a charity chosen by Louise.

The first order of calendars saw 3000 sold, and has proved to be very popular from people living in the local area.

She said: "I have chosen Weldmar in Dorchester as it is a charity close to my heart and is a fantastic place.

"I thought, let's go so ethnic for them."

On being chosen by Louise, Matt Smith, director of fundraising and marketing at Weldmar Hospicecare, said: "We are extremely grateful for the continued support from our local community, including this fundraising initiative organised by Louise.

"She has coordinated, arranged and produced the whole project entirely on her own and has kindly decided to donate all profits of the calendar to Weldmar Hospicecare so we can continue our care across Dorset.

"Support from people like Louise is vital to ensure that we can continue to be here for when people need us most in the future.

"A massive thank you to Louise and all her volunteers for supporting our cause."

The calendar will be launched at a special launch party later this month.
