With activities for carnival season well underway, here are some pictures from carnivals gone by.
There are pictures from both the Bridport and Lyme Regis Carnival throughout the years, do you recognise anyone in the photos?
This year, Bridport Carnival will take place on Saturday, August 18 with a carnival procession throughout the town.
Activities for this year include carnival quiz, darts and a family bingo, as well as the traditional Sunday evening torchlight parade from Bridport to West Bay on Sunday, August 19, which will set off from South Street at 9pm.
The Lyme Regis Regatta and carnival week, which is in its 70th year, will take place from Saturday, August 4 until Sunday, August 12.
The main parade will take place on Saturday, August 11.
