An estate agents put its best foot forward to raise money for Sports Relief.

Mayfair Town and Country estate and letting agents raised more than £1,000 for the charity.

This year’s efforts saw staff collectively running, walking and cycling to cover a distance of 104.4 miles from Dorchester to Bristol.

Miles were completed on foot, by bike, treadmill and cross-trainer across 13 offices based in Bristol, Somerset and across Dorset.

The target miles were exceeded with the teams achieving 190 miles in total - some 85.6 miles over the 104.4 target set.

As a result a total of £1,017 was raised smashing the firm’s target of £1,000.

Harriet Stacy-Marks, Principal and Area Sales Manager of Mayfair Town & Country in Dorset and South Somerset, said: “I’m incredibly proud of our teams for rising to the challenge, as we’re the first to admit we’re not a naturally sporty bunch! But we’re always happy to step up in the name of charity, and the aches and pains were well worth it when we saw the total come in. The theme of the challenge was centred around our number of offices, so as well as raising a fantastic figure for charity it was a fitting opportunity to highlight the wide coverage of our offices at Mayfair, which are positioned all across the South West.

“Thank you to everyone who donated, prior to the event and on the day, and for the support from the public and passers-by who gave us such welcome words of encouragement on the day.”

The money raised for Sport Relief goes directly to the charity, helping vulnerable people, across the UK and the world, to live happier, healthier and safer lives.
