Did you see a commotion in town this afternoon? Well, the community came out in force to attack plastic.
Organised by new, zero waste shop the Green Weigh, campaigners – including Billy Bragg – took to Waitrose in Bridport to show they have had enough of excess plastic waste used in the food industry and are commited to tackling the issue.
The Plastic Attack was a peaceful demonstration against unrecyclable plastic, with shoppers unwrapping their groceries from unnecessary packaging and loading up trolleys with the waste.
