Thanks very much for your excellent article last week about our campaign to resurrect Bridport’s indoor skate park, The Trick Factory.

Just to emphasise that we are aiming to create something rather special: something welcoming to families, children and young people of all ages –
this will include a café – and something offering quality provision for BMX bikers, skate boarders and scooterists.

Equality of access for both able-bodied and those with a disability, for both experienced riders and novices, will be essential features.

All of this we hope to achieve in partnership with Bridport Town Council, and with the support of the Bridport community and particularly the Rotary Club of Bridport.

We are grateful to Sir Oliver Letwin for lending his support, to those offering to publicise our fundraising activities following the reading of the aforementioned article and to the Bridport News, Echo and your reporter, Jennie Mulcahey, for the genuine interest you have shown in what we are trying to achieve.
