A man arrested in connection with a fatal crash near Weymouth has been issued with a postal requisition to appear in court.
He has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
The fatal crash happened on the B3157 Coast Road.
Police were called at 8.34am on Wednesday May 17, 2017 to reports of a collision between a grey BMW 350d and a black Hyundai i30 near to Rodden Lane.
The driver of the Hyundai – a 37-year-old Portishead man – was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old Weymouth man has been issued with a postal requisition for causing death by dangerous driving and is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 23.
