WITH the grant of Planning Permission on March 22 for 22 houses on agricultural land outside of the Defined Development Boundary for Broadwindsor village, within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and clear sight of National Trust landscape of Lewesdon Hill, is it not a dereliction of responsibility and duty by public servants in the role of Planning Officers and Council Committee Members to circumvent rule, legislation and statute laid for the protection of the environment?
This being the clear case there can be no point in giving credence or having faith in any statute, promise or commitment to protect the environment in past and any future protective legislation.
