*HEAR the stirring sound of opera music at Weymouth Bay Methodist Church tomorrow.

*AN ARTISAN Fair is being held at the Dorset Centre for Creative Arts at Middle Farm Way on Poundbury.

It takes place this evening between 5.30pm and 8pm and tomorrow between 10am and 4.30pm. There will be demonstrations, crafts to buy, a chance to have a go or have your portrait drawn by James Meiklejohn.

*HIGH energy and eclectic eight piece Police Dog Hogan perform at Dorchester Corn Exchange tomorrow from 8pm.

*WHAT was a Tudor Christmas like?

Find out at Corfe Castle near Swanage. The Tudor storytelling sessions start tomorrow and continue until December 23 then resume after Christmas. Join our Lord of Misrule on a journey through the romantic ruins. Find out about the rich history of Tudor traditions and maybe participate in a play or a game or two. The castle will also be open until 7pm for Winter Lights on select dates including tomorrow. The special events are free but normal admission charges apply.

*GET yourself out to Sixpenny Handley for an evening of star gazing at tomorrow at 1st Woodcutts Scout HQ on the B3081.

Astronomer and Cranborne Chase AONB Dark Skies advisor Bob Mizon will regale the audience with stories of the astronomical wonders above their heads, while the AONB's director Linda Nunn will detail developments concerning the Cranborne Chase AONB's bid for prestigious International Dark Sky Reserve status. *EXPERIENCE some sultry jazz in Evershot when the Christian Garrick Quartet perform tomorrow night.

The quintet recalls the celebrated Hot Club Quintet Of France with Django Reinhardt as well as the George Shearing or Alan Clare piano-bass-drums quartets.

*DICKENS combined with anarchic comedy comes to Piddletrenthide Memorial Hall on Sunday.
