A car ended up on its side after a crash involving a bus in Litton Cheney.
White Way was closed both ways from the A35 to Cox's Lane following the collision.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 8.20am this morning.
A black Toyota RAV4 and a single-decker Mercedes bus were involved in the collision.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision involving a car and a bus.
"It is thought that the car is on its side.
"The ambulance service has been called.
"A woman is out of the car and there are no reported injuries to anyone on the bus."
Fire crews from Bridport and Dorchester were on scene and stabilised the car.
Drivers were being urged to avoid the village while police dealt with the incident.
The female driver was checked over by paramedics at the scene and was taken to Dorset County Hospital with a neck injury.
Police confirmed her injuries are "not life threatening or life changing."
The road has now reopened.
