A spokesperson for Morebus said: "“At Morebus, we have invested heavily in the services we offer those travelling with us in and around Bournemouth and Poole. As well as introducing new buses equipped with the very latest technological advances - like USB chargers and free wifi - we offer round-the-clock timetables on our M1 and M2 routes between the two towns.

“We think very carefully before making changes to ticket prices. In this instance, any increases are very small, and we are confident they will have minimal impact on our customers. Morebus period passes still offer excellent value in comparison with other available options in the region. And we have taken the decision not to increase the cost of some of our day and period passes at all.”
