NATURALIST and television presented Chris Packham will be speaking in Yeovil in a special evening to raise funds for Somerset Wildlife Trust.
Chris has led a remarkable life. He’s gained recognition as a naturalist, television presenter, writer, photographer, conservationist, campaigner and filmmaker.
Join Chris for an evening of spectacular images and lively debate. Illustrated with his superb photographs from around the world and from his beloved UK, he’ll explain the fascinating ecologies and behaviours of a range of creatures from leopards to barn owls, from cheetahs to pond skaters, from polar Bears to peregrines.
Chris will tell of his close shaves and the often bizarre lengths he’ll go to get a picture, and challenges people to think again about the conventions of conservation. His conversational style, irreverent humour and sometimes controversial opinions make for a hugely rewarding evening’s entertainment whether you’re 8 or 80.
*Chris Packham's Wild Night Out, Thursday November, 2, 7.30pm, Westlands Arena, Yeovil. Book at westlandsyeovil.co.uk or by calling 01935 422884.
