SOUTH West duo Louis Bingham and David Insua-Coa - AKA Bingcows - will be performing this week
The talented musicians first met in 2004 as band members providing live music for a touring circus show.
Now, courtesy of Dorset rural arts touring company, Artsreach, they’re set to play Langton Matravers Village Hall on Thursday (19), Broadoak Village Hall on Friday (20) and Shillingstone Portman Hall on Saturday (21).
The Bingcows, who are also touring with support from the national organisation Live Music Now, play a range of fretted instruments, hand and pitched percussion and an infamous ‘box of toys’.
Artsreach co-director Yvonne Gallimore said: “Live Music Now are committed to working with professional musicians in an effort to ensure that quality live music is accessible to everybody, and that is a similar ethos to us here at Artsreach, striving to bring quality performances to rural venues.
“The support of our funders, and sponsors such as Blanchards Bailey Solicitors means our programme can reach right across the county. For this tour, the added support of Live Music Now means we are also able to offer a daytime performance for users of Chancery House in Bridport.”
