PRESENTERS of a popular television show went down on the farm as West Dorset prepares to hit the small screen.

Henry Cole and Simon O'Brien, of C4's Find It, Fix It, Flog It, filmed scenes for their new series, which started on Monday (SEPT25) at a farm in Broadwindsor.

At the farm they found a motorbike, copper pan, chest of drawers and a cheese press all restored or transformed.

The award-winning show returns for a 25-part series, and the scenes from Broadwindsor are expected to be shown in episode six.

The presenters will be continuing their travels around Britain in search of unwanted possessions they can transform into desirable and valuable new items, raising money for their owners - but this series, they are taking on even more ambitious projects than ever before.

A spokesman for the show said: "For Henry and his mechanic, Guy, it’s all about restoring retro relics and vintage classics, whilst upcycling genious Simon and his restorer, Gemma, love turning everyday objects into fantastic furniture.

"From converting a fire extinguisher into a steampunk lamp and adapting a Bakelite voltmeter into a retro Bluetooth speaker to transforming old theatre lights into stunning table lamps, making a coffee table out of parquet flooring and converting tank parts into garden furniture, our ‘sultans of scrap’ and their teams are back to turn yesterday’s junk into tomorrow’s hard cash. Along the way, they’ll also be joined by British designer and upcycler Max McMurdo."

Henry is the brains behind two very successful companies; television production company HCA Entertainment Ltd and Gladstone Motorcycles, a bespoke hand-built custom motorbike manufacturing business.

Many of the series he has presented have combined his love of motorbikes with his passion for restoration.

Away from TV and all things mechanical, Henry is passionate about fishing, cycling and - most importantly - his wife Janie and his two sons Charlie and Tom.

Simon is an actor and presenter as well as a successful property developer. Born and brought up in Liverpool, Simon began acting in 1982 and appeared in Brookside for five years and moved to LA before returning to the UK to work on property and restoration shows.
