Broadchurch fans can own their personal slice of the iconic television drama – for the cool price of £300,000.

The tiny hut where DI Alec Hardy, portrayed by David Tennant, lives in the popular series is back on the market.

It comes with two bedrooms and its own boat mooring, as well as river and harbour views.

West Bay shot to fame when Broadchurch, written by Chris Chibnall, first aired in 2013. Its third and final series may be over, but interest in the drama – and the local area – shows no sign of abating.

Amy Furness, of Stags, which is marketing the property, said there has been a lot of interest.

She added: “There haven’t been any offers yet but it is still early days and there has been a lot of interest, from national publications. It’s great to get the spotlight shining on West Bay and Bridport again.”

Tennant’s character can often be seen in the series outside the iconic hut brooding over the latest murder case.

The hut was last up for sale four years ago.

Amy added: “It is a lovely property, even without the Broadchurch connections. The owner has done a lot of work on it. It’s a great location. There was so much interest last time around and Broadchurch never really wanes in popularity.

“Brit Bank is a delightful riverside bungalow situated in a waterside position, close to the harbour but beautifully tucked away.

“The property is a detached timber bungalow presented in excellent order. Brit Bank offers a good sized sitting room with wooden flooring throughout and with French doors opening onto the riverside and a seating area to the right. A well-appointed kitchen that leads to a utility area with space for a washing machine and storage which then leads into a good sized modern bathroom with shower over bath. There are two double bedrooms with the master bedroom benefitting from views across the river outside. Brit Bank is a very special property as it was featured heavily in the popular coastal drama Broadchurch in series two of the show. Through this fame many tourists come to the area of West Bay and love to see where all the action took place.”
