The West Dorset Western Area Transport Action Group (WATAG) is holding its next public meeting on Thursday in the W.I. Hall, North Street, Bridport.

Bus services are on the agenda following the many changes to school and public transport services this autumn.

Chairman Philip Sankey said: “We hope that we shall have representatives from Dorset County Council and the bus companies present to listen to people’s concerns.

“Looking to the future, we hope to hear about South Western Railways’ plans for revised rail services at Axminster and Dorchester South and the work that is being done by the Clinical Commissioning Group on the future of health services and the provision of transport to access them.

“As usual, we hope to welcome local councillors, transport operators and Dorset Travel officials together with public transport users who can raise questions about local bus and train services.”
