OUR thanks to Marilyn Harrison (nee Creed) who wrote to confirm this picture (Looking Back August 10) was her family.
She said: “Just to confirm that the wedding photo in the centre of the Bridport News is my great grandmother Minnie Newbery marrying Harry Mills.
"Minnie had two daughters Rita and Elin, my wonderful granny, who married Cecil Walter Creed.
"Harry Mills' mother I think was a Hardy – I think Harry’s mother was Thomas Hardy's cousin.”
