Man arrested on suspicion of assault and racially aggravated public order offence
A 27-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Lyme Regis yesterday evening on suspicion of common assault and a racially aggravated public order offence.
The Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis Safer Neighbouring policing team said the male, who is from Lyme Regis, was detained in Bridge Street.
He has now been charged with a racially aggravated assault and public order offence.
He will appear before court on March 1.
