Temperatures are set to drop to as cold as -5C as a cold snap sets in.

Today had a frosty start, with Dorset waking up to freezing temperatures.

Although it will stay mostly dry for the rest of the day, there is a chance of some wintry showers tomorrow and it will also become quite breezy.

The Met Office says the freezing spell will be brought over by a polar continental air mass from central Europe.

Saturday is set to be the coldest day this week, with temperatures falling as low as -5C early morning and remaining below freezing as the day progresses.

Sunday will be slightly warmer, with some sunny spells bringing temperatures above freezing.
