FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fuel spill on a road in a west Dorset village this afternoon.
One crew was dispached to Barr's Lane in Charmouth at 2.11pm where around three litres of petrol had drained from a vehicle onto the road.
They used environment agency equipment, carried on the fire engine, to make sure the spill didn't get worse.
A spokesman for the Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said that none of the petrol had entered any watercourse.
