BEAMINSTER resident and Masterchef Mat Follas has been showing youngster the joy of cooking.
The chef helped the pupils of Moutjoy School bake lamington cakes this week in preparation for their all -important Christmas Fayre at the weekend.
Acorns class Teacher, Natalie Rashleigh, said “The children were very surprised to see Mat walk into class but they soon settled down and they all had a wonderful time getting messy with the chocolate.
“They made lots of cakes which will be sold at the Christmas Fayre as part of a fund raising drive for therapies at Mountjoy School.”
The cakes are just part of what will be for sale at the Saturday afternoon event at the school in Beaminster.
The fayre is part of the fund raising drive for therapies at the school and will take place from 2 to 4pm.
