AN ARTISAN fair will take place at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth this weekend (11) to help raise funding for the charity's work across the world.

The event will take place on Sunday from 10am until 4pm and will include a range of lovely crafts.

The autumn fair is one of The Donkey Sanctuary's most popular events, and a great opportunity to showcase the talents of local artisans.

Chris Phillips from The Donkey Sanctuary, said: "This is one of the most anticipated events here at the sanctuary and always brings an array of local talent.

"There is no better way to view it all than in the beautiful setting of The Donkey Sanctuary."

With many unique, handmade and original items on offer from jewellery through to hand made clothing and bags, the event is a perfect way to enjoy a day shopping locally in the beautiful surroundings of The Donkey Sanctuary. Under 12s and admitted to the event free of charge, and for those over 12 years old, entry is just £2 per person.

Refreshments will be available from the Hayloft restaurant in order for visitors to make a whole day of it. Visit the artisan fair, stay for lunch, meet the friendly donkeys and get your Christmas shopping done early. The Sanctuary’s Adopt a Donkey scheme is also another great alternative Christmas gift not to be missed.
