FOUR people were detained by police on suspicion of drugs misuse in Bridport yesterday.
Two people were subsequently arrested; one for suspected driving under the influence of drugs and another for allegedly being in possession of drugs.
A spokesman said: "The car they were driving was seized and returned to the vehicle rental company as it had not been returned as the contract had expired."
The incident was part of a crackdown on drugs in the Bridport area and officers posted the details on the Facebook page for the Bridport, Beaminster and Lyme Regis Safer Neighbourhood teams.
