Broken-down van near Chideock blocks A35 westbound
A BROKEN-DOWN car transporter has been cleared from the A35 westbound lane near Chideock.
Travel Dorset said all lanes are now open and the vehicle has been cleared from the road.
Dorset Police said they were called about the vehicle at around 2.15pm this afternoon.
They said: "A white Renault transporter registered to a business in Parley had broken down on Chideock Hill.
"The Highways Agency are also involved and estimated that recovery could take two hours."
Travel Dorset said there were no major delays as a result of the incident.
