THE village of Halstock held their Pot Luck Christmas Buffet on December 3. There was a wide variety of buffet goods, with ham and turkey and an assortment of sweets.
There was also warming rum punch, sherry and wines.
Teas and coffees were served with mint chocolates and crackers after the meal.
Down Your Way correspondent Paula Denham, from Corscombe, said: “Halstock perform this little miracle in May and Christmas every year.
“What a great team of helpers in the photo, Halstock you should all be proud.
“The weekly Halstock Pot Luck Lunches were started in 1987 by Jean Geraghty. “Sadly, she died, and her husband George took on the mammoth task and continued it in her memory.
“Congratulations George, and thanks to all the wonderful cooks.”
