ASDA customers raised £200 to help support motor neurone disease sufferers in West Dorset.
Mary Bates, the mum of popular Balance of Power drummer Spencer Bates, who died after a battle with MND, thanked all the Asda Weymouth customers for their support.
The MND association in West Dorset received the most green tokens during September to October and so received £200 from the supermarket as part of its initiatives to support the community.
Mrs Bates thanked Asda community life champion Sandy West and all the customers.
