BRIDPORT: The arrival of Mad Dog Mcrea to the Electric Palace is just days away, and the long wait for their iconic folk rock, pop, gypsy jazz, and bluegrass sounds is nearly over.

From self-penned songs of adventure, drinking, love and life, to traditional songs of gypsies, fairies, legless pirates and black flies – Mad Dog never fail to capture their audience with their infectious songs.

The band have recently returned from their second major UK tour spreading the Mad Dog word across the country from The Isle of Sky to Land’s End.

Their recent acclaimed album The Whirling Dervish, as championed by Mike Harding on Radio 2, has become an underground classic, winning the best album of the year 2012 at The South West Music Awards.

The performance will begin from 7.30pm on November 1.
