BRIDPORT: Firefighters and police rescued a young boy stuck on scaffolding in East Street.
Police received a call from a member of the public who had spotted the 12-year-old on the framework in front of the Cancer Research shop on Tuesday night.
A police spokesman said: “We had the call around 11.20pm. The caller was concerned about the welfare of the 12-year old boy who was around 12-15 metres from the pavement.
“Officers closed off East Street while Dorset Fire and Rescue Service put a ladder up to bring him down.”
Two fire crews attended the incident.
