DORSET man Chris Coe walked 375 miles along the south coast to raise nearly £5,500 for Brain Tumour Research. He walked from Land’s End to Poole Harbour and said it was some of the wildest and most severe coastline in the country, with long stretches of multiple steep inclines and declines.
He said: “In total I have climbed nearly three times the height of Everest.
“But, it has been worth every step.”
His cousin Andy was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March 2013 but died in February this year.
Chris said: “Andy really enjoyed watching my training in progress, which mainly involved getting lost and blisters, but it was great for him to see sponsorship donations coming in, which would hopefully help stop other people and families having to go through the same thing.”
