Bridport Deaf Club recently received £1,723.85 in funding to allow the organisation to purchase ICT equipment.
Officials said that many members who attended the club had never accessed the internet and would benefit from the donation, which was made by the Dorset Community Trust Foundation.
Among the equipment purchased included an iPad, laptop, printer, camera and mobile internet dongle.
The new equipment would also allow them to print and display monthly newsletters and other forthcoming events.
As a non-profit making, unregistered charity they rely on donations to continue aiding their members.
The club meets on the first Saturday of every month at the Social Education Centre, Flood Lane, Bridport from 2-6pm and caters for all levels of deafness, families and friends of deaf, all levels of British Sign Language from learners to fully qualified interpreters.
