BURTON BRADSTOCK: ‘A Feast of Folk’ is looking to raise money for the RNLI by tapping into the old village tradition of music, song, and dance.
The event will run from noon to 6pm in the garden of The Three Horseshoes Pub on September 20.
The line-up of local musicians, who are all performing free, includes The Bride Valley Band, Burton Bradstock School, Shiraz, ABA, Le Rooster, KnH, Delta 88 and Mor or Less. Wyld Morris will be dancing outside the pub during the afternoon. Entry is free and there will be a raffle, charity stall and donation buckets, all proceeds going to the RNLI. In the evening a Ceilidh will be held at Burton Bradstock Village Hall from 7pm-10pm with dancing led by The Bride Valley Band.
There will be a bar and interval entertainment from Bobbies Gurlz.
Booking for the Ceilidh is essential, according to organisers. Adult tickets are priced at £5 while children can enter for £2.50. Tickets can be obtained from Burton Bradstock Post Office or email burtonfolktickets@gmail.com
