A MOTOR boat with two men aboard was towed back to the harbour after running out of fuel.

The Lyme-based vessel My Joy was two miles south of Charmouth at around 8.20pm last night, Monday, September 16, when it had to be rescued.

The Lyme Regis RNLI Lifeboat launched and towed the vessel back to Lyme Regis where they were met by coastguard rescue officers.

This was the 25th emergency call for Lyme Regis RNLI so far this year.
