Is the photographer a guy, by any chance?

Photos of girls seem to outnumber those of boys by about four to one.

I wonder why on Earth exam results have suddenly become newsworthy ??
It's true I seldom read the Ohec in the 1960s (well, we didn't have it online in those days, you see !!), but I'm sure that what you did in school was your own, PRIVATE business. Now we have Proms photo's, exam results and probably one or two other school-based *NEWS* items, too - WEIRD, I call it !!

Harpya Orkinus, surely it is a positive thing to celebrate achievements? What better news story than that of students achieving personal goals, and celebrating responsibly at school proms, or balls? Also, I'm sure that all students featured in results or prom articles were asked for their permission before being photographed or interviewed, therefore, what you do at school is still "your own, private business".

Students are just as large a part of your community as anyone else, therefore, school related successes and other announcements are most definitely newsworthy, particularly remembering that this is a local newspaper.

Quite frankly, stop being a spoilsport.
