‘ALL Over the Town’, the 1948 film comedy set in Lyme Regis, will be showing at The Town Mill Malthouse on August 18.

First up is the short feature ‘Memories of the Lyme Regis Branch’, the line which ran between Lyme and Axminster from 1903 to 1963.

‘All Over The Town’ is set in the ‘small seaside town’ of 'Torcross' and was filmed almost entirely in Lyme Regis.

The film plot concerns an RAF pilot who returns to his job as a newspaper reporter in the small seaside town.

Doors open to the event at 6.30pm with the films starting at 7pm.

Admission is £5 for adults, £4 for Town Mill volunteers and £2 for children. All proceeds will go to The Town Mill. To book tickets or for more information, contact Diana Forrest on 01297 443135. Tickets will also be available on the door.
