THE Lyme Regis RNLI Inshore Lifeboat towed a vessel to safety.
The local vessel broke down a mile south of Lyme Regis beach at around 2.15pm yesterday, Sunday, June 20.
Lyme Regis RNLI press officer, Richard Horobin, said: "The vessel broke down at the same time as the bathtub race was taking place for Lifeboat Week, so the lifeboat was already afloat and able to assist."
