EMERGENCY services dealt with a crash in Lyme Regis.

The single vehicle collision happened on the B3165 Uplyme Road outside The Woodroffe School about 4pm yesterday, Sunday, July 20. The road was closed but is back open again.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were alerted.

The B3165 Uplyme Road was closed in both directions between Clappentail Lane junction and the Haye Lane junction.

Firecrews have cut the roof from the vehicle.

The two people who were in the vehicle have been assessed by paramedics.

A Dorset Police spokesman said there is nothing to indicate the occupants have suffered life threatening or life changing injuries.

The vehicle's roof was removed as a precaution.
